46-year-old Jeremy Parks was charged with public intoxication after he approached police to report that security at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar had pushed him down the stairs.

On March 6th, Jeremy Parks approached police at the intersection of 3rd Avenue North and Broadway. Police state that Jeremy’s movements were lethargic, he smelled heavily of alcohol, and had slurred speech. Officers spoke with security at the location and they stated that Jeremy “was trying to get onto the stage and play with the band.”

Security told police they asked Jeremy to leave and he refused, so they began to escort him down the stairs. While they were escorting Jeremy downstairs, he tried to punch a member of security but missed and another security guard fell down the stairs due to Jeremy’s actions. Security did not wish to prosecute for any assault that may have occurred. Police asked Jeremy what he had consumed and he stated “alcohol, Adderall, and Xanax” and then requested an ambulance but later declined medical treatment. Police deemed Jeremy a danger to the public.

Jeremy Parks was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. The charge was later dismissed.
