29-year-old Cyntoria Meaderds was charged with assault and aggravated assault after an argument over money turned into a one-woman rampage.
On March 8th, Cyntoria Meaders got into an argument with Luis Gutierrez and others in a residence on Susanna Court over missing money. During the argument, Cyntoria pepper-sprayed Luis and the witnesses inside the apartment. Cyntoria then left and entered her vehicle, but Luis and the witnesses followed her outside where Luis stood in front of her vehicle. Cyntoria backed out of the parking space, stopped, and drove her vehicle forward stopping it on Luis’ foot.
She then continued to drive forward running over Luis from his foot to his midsection, then backed up and fled the scene. Luis was transported to Centennial Hospital by NFD Medic 23 with injuries to his legs and midsection. Witness statements were consistent with Luis’ statement and Cyntoria was positively identified by all parties involved because they have all known each other for years. Cyntoria was later taken into custody on March 12th and transported to booking.
Cyntoria Meaderds was arrested and charged with assault and aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $5,500.
