Drunk man causes disturbance at Red Roof Inn

34-year-old Martell Miller was charged with public intoxication after he was found yelling outside the Red Roof Inn and causing an “unreasonable annoyance”, according to the affidavit.

On March 12th, officers responded to the Red Roof Inn on Northgate Drive in reference to disorderly individuals being loud and possibly fighting outside the motel. Officers found Martell Miller and noted that he smelled heavily of alcohol, had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet.

Martell had drawn an audience because of his inebriated actions and continued to yell out after being instructed to stop and calm down. Police deemed Martell to be a danger to himself and was causing an “unreasonable annoyance” to the general public.

Martell Miller was arrested and charged with public intoxication. The charge was later dismissed.
