31-year-old Cory Bold was charged with aggravated criminal trespassing when SWAT and K9 teams were deployed to remove him from a construction site. The event lasted 2 hours and Cory told police he was just using a portable toilet and taking a nap.

On March 19th, a state parks officer saw Cory Bold walk into a fenced area around the State Archives Building located at 501 Jefferson Street. The area is under construction and not open to the public. According to the affidavit, when officers arrived he was walking around on the second floor. Eventually, SWAT and K9 units were deployed to clear the building and they located Bold on a first-floor stairway. When questioned, Bold told officers he breached the property to utilize a port-o-potty and then decided to take a nap in a closet. The report also noted this is not the first time Cory Bold has been removed from a construction site and infers that he is likely to offend again.

Cory Bold was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
