24-year-old Stephanie Perez was charged with throwing a glass plate at her husband and hitting him in his head, hospitalizing him after an argument at the dinner table.
On April 17th, police showed up to TriStar Southern Hills Hospital (391 Wallace Road) in response to a domestic dispute. The officer spoke to the victim, Miguel Torres, who stated that he and his wife, the defendant, Stephanie Perez, were at their apartment located at 500 Piccadilly Row Apartment 46 where the assault took place. He said they were eating dinner, and finished when they began arguing which catalyzed the anger that led to her throwing a glass plate at his head when he left to take a shower.
Police noticed a laceration that helped collaborated his story which he was having treated at TriStar. Miguel left the house after the indent in a car with his mother to go to the hospital but wished to not prosecute his wife.
On June 3rd, Stephanie Perez was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $3,000.
