36-year-old Lauren Blane and 37-year-old Antonio Rosas-Mendoza were charged with punching Blane’s ex-boyfriend and smashing a beer bottle over his head causing significant injuries.
On June 4th, a witness reported a physical assault at 320 Welch Road Apartment G-2, when police responded they were informed that the two defendants, Lauren Blane and Antonio Rosas-Mendoza, are in a relationship. Also, Blane and the victim, Matthew Jordan, used to be in a relationship. He asked Blane and Rosas-Mendoza to be quiet because they were being loud and they proceeded to assault him. The witness said that he saw Blane hit Jordan in the forehead with a fist and brandish a knife whish she swung at him.

Then Rosas-Mendoza pushes him and hit him in the head with a bottle, per witness report. Jordan immediately left after being struck and headed to Southern Hills Hospital where police found him. They said that they saw swelling on his forehead and blood-covered clothes as well as a bandage covering his forehead. At the apartment police also noticed blood on the bedroom door that was documented.
Lauren Blane and Antonio Rosas-Mendoza were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $20,000 and his was set at $5,000.
