24-year-old Mackenzie Ford was charged with public intoxication after she was found passed out on a stranger’s porch. When police asked where she thought she was, she replied downtown Grand Rapids in Michigan.
On June 21st, around 3 am the officer arrived at 1120 Sunnymeade Drive for a female passed out on the complainant’s porch. When they arrived she was already being treated by medics in the back of an ambulance. The paramedics told police that they found her on the porch and she couldn’t tell them where she was nor wanted to go to the hospital.
After being released from the paramedics she told the police that she wanted to go home but could not remember where that was. Then she told them that she had left a party and knew exactly where she was at that moment. The officers described her as being extremely intoxicated when they asked and she replied with downtown Eureka Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Out of fear that she may be a danger to herself or anyone else police placed her into custody.
Mackenzie Ford was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Her bond was set at $100 and the charge was later dismissed.
