30-year-old Taylor Birmingham is charged with two counts of felony drug possession with intent to distribute after admitting to police what they found was, indeed, marijuana, and that he only ‘sells it in bulk’. Police also located Xanax, Oxycodone, $5,085 in cash, and wax residue inside the vehicle he was inside at a closed gas station.
In early February, Metro Nashville Police officers were conducting a terry stop of Taylor Birmingham, who was observed sitting in a vehicle at a closed gas station. Upon searching his vehicle, officers found three pounds of marijuana, twelve Xanax bars, two Oxycodone pills, a grinder, and a digital scale. He also was in possession of $5,085 in cash, which police say is consistent with street-level selling of narcotics.
Taylor Birmingham was arrested and charged with two counts of felony drug possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He admitted to police the marijuana was his and stated he only sold it in bulk. He is currently free on a $9,000 bond.
