56-year-old Michael Davis was causing a disturbance at Redneck Riviera in the early hours of Saturday morning, and when asked to leave, he began to assault the bouncers. He was eventually escorted outside, where bouncers flagged down nearby Metro Nashville Police Officers. Davis was lying on the ground outside the bar when they arrived and reeked of alcohol. He stated he was staying at a nearby hotel and that he wanted to walk there. They advised he was too drunk to walk but could arrange a taxi or ride share, which he refused.
Michael Davis was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 15, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
