25-year-old Meagan Playford was jailed early Tuesday morning after wrecking her vehicle in a construction lot, landing in a “concrete pit.” When officers made contact with Playford, she smelled strongly of alcohol and was crying hysterically. Ms. Playford stated that she had been waiting outside for officers for over an hour. She was confused and very talkative, admitting to having a couple of drinks earlier that evening. She performed poorly on sobriety tests and blew a .118% on the breathalyzer. She was transported to booking and charged with DUI.
Meagan Playford of Old Franklin Road in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 31st, charged with DUI. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,500, which she posted in cash.
