44-year-old Sarah Craighead was jailed Tuesday night after she was transported to Southern Hills Hospital when medics found her drunk in her 2013 Ford Fusion at the Edmondson Pike Library. Sarah told officers she had two glasses of wine earlier in the day and didn’t remember what happened that led her to be at the hospital. A witness on the scene told police he observed Sarah behind the wheel and watched as her car rolled down a hill into a ditch on Edmondson Pike. Sarah still had her keys in her front pocket and told police she was the only one in the car. On suspicion of DUI, officers then had Craighead perform SFTs, which Craighead failed, as well as blowing a .103% BAC on a breathalyzer. This led to officers charging Sarah with DUI and taking her into custody.
