Professor Linda Knieps was jailed Thursday after police say she exposed her 59-year-old breasts to a man and his 11-year-old son. Bansal Deepak initially made the report to police in September and provided video of Knieps lifting her shirt and exposing herself to himself and his son while flipping off the camera as he recorded the incident. Police say this happened on at least two occasions. A warrant was issued for her arrest, charging her with indecent exposure, and she was served the warrant this week.
Linda J. Knieps of Vauxhall Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 7th, charged with indecent exposure. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.

Maybe someone needs to investigate why Mr Bonsal has a surveillance camera trained on his neighbor’s backyard and has moved the camera on several occasions to ensure that his “view” in not obstructed or why he (and his 11 year old) are monitoring the camera when said neighbor(s) are in the privacy of their own backyard. Perhaps Mr Bonsal should familiarize himself with Tenn. Code § 39-13-607. Regarding observation without consent.
Wait a minute. This woman was in the privacy of her backyard and her neighbors were filming her? Where are the charges for him? Surely there must be some invasion of privacy charge that should be leveled at him. This seems a bit one sided. Why does the neighbor have a camera trained on her backyard? Honestly I think there should be charges brought up on him. Let’s see his mugshot. Unreal.
Ummm, what? This article is really offensive. Writing “59-year-old breasts” is both age-ist and sexist. Also, why were they filming this poor person? And if it had happened once, why did Mr. Deepak repeat his obtrusive filming with son and his son’s 11-year-old eyes a second time? If the woman was wearing a bra, it’s no different than her being in a swimsuit while these two peeping Toms spy on her. Please publish a fair account of what happened or take the article down.
Unless I’m reading TN law incorrectly, what the father was doing is completely illegal, as this lady was in her own backyard, behind a fairly high fence. Since TN code prohibits observation without consent, never mind pointing a camera into someone’s yard past a fence, perhaps the complainant should be the one cited. And, BECAUSE of that high fence, unless the 11 year old was calling into the room to view the camera feed, this woman in no way deliberately exposed anyone to anything.
