William Sanders caught vandalizing government property with sharpie

34-year-old William John Sanders drew graffiti with a black Sharpie onto a city-operated light box on the corner of 3rd Avenue North and Broadway late February 4th. Officers observed this and approached Sanders, who made eye contact with them but continued to draw until he was told to stop. Sanders was taken into custody for vandalizing government property.

William John Sanders of E Mineral Road in Gilbert, AZ, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 4th, charged with vandalism of government property. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
