Ariyana Huguley deemed too drunk at Nashville International Airport

26-year-old Ariyana Huguley was disorderly near the bus loading area at BNA Arriving Flights late June 25th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Huguley and noticed she reeked of alcohol and was visibly impaired. During their interaction, she could not answer questions regarding her address or phone number. Amidst the conversation, Huguley admitted to drinking two double shots from a bar inside the airport and that she was denied boarding. Huguley was deemed unable to care for herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

George Medlin loses his luggage after having 7 drinks at Nashville International Airport

64-year-old George Delbert Medlin was taken into custody for public intoxication on May 17th. A Southwest Airlines employee flagged officers down regarding a passenger, Medlin, who lost his luggage. When officers located him near Gate C20, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and was showing signs of impairment. Medlin admitted to having seven alcoholic beverages while waiting for his flight, which got rescheduled due to his intoxication. Medlin was detained for the occurrence.

DUI: Ryan Smith fails to use turn signal after drinking 2 IPAs on Broadway

44-year-old Ryan Scott Smith failed to use his turn signal in his white Mazda CX5 before changing lanes in front of a Nissan Titan near Donelson Pike on the afternoon of February 11th. Officers observed this, initiated a traffic stop, and noticed Smith was visibly intoxicated as they approached the driver’s side. Officers asked him where he was coming from, and he told them he was at the bars on Broadway. Smith admitted this was also where he had two IPAs. Smith consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and refused to provide a sample after being informed of implied consent. Smith was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent on February 12th.

Kyana Ashberry leaves Heroin in car at Nashville International Airport

23-year-old Kyana Danielle Asberry parked her car facing the wrong way at the Donelson Pike and Terminal Drive intersection near Nashville International Airport on December 15th. Officers noticed the vehicle had a cow-print hat on the dashboard with a yellow bag commonly associated with the storage of narcotics, a folded-up dollar bill inside of it, and a pre-rolled cigarette in the center console. Asberry returned to her vehicle as officers observed it, and she advised them that her car had run out of gas, so she went to the gas station. Officers told her about what they found, searched the vehicle, and located 4 grams of heroin, a homemade smoking pipe, a drug overdose kit, and a dollar bill with heroin in it. Asberry was taken into custody for felony possession.
