Walker-Reese failed to pay the fine or appear in court on June 16th, 2023, so on August 18th, 2023, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Walker-Reese was taken into custody on March 25th.

Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. He failed to appear in court and was issued an arrest warrant. Mitchell was booked on the citation for driving with a cell device on December 28th.
