19-year-old Jhonatan Quijada Quijada was booked on the citation of theft on April 22nd. On March 29th, officers were called to Nordstrom regarding a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival, they spoke with Joey Rodriguez Jr., a Nordstrom loss prevention officer. He stated he observed Quijada enter the location, select two shirts valued at $185.00, and place them inside a bag he had brought. Then, Rodriguez Jr. said he detained Quijada and waited for the police. The occurrence was captured on camera. Officers then cited Quijada. Quijada was taken into custody on April 22nd.

Nicholas Barrett attempts to steal $153 worth of cologne from Nordstrom

18-year-old Nicholas Barrett tried to steal merchandise from Nordstrom on March 26th. Joey Rodriguez Jr., a Nordstrom loss prevention officer, alerted the authorities. Rodriguez Jr. advised officers that he observed Barrett enter the establishment and attempt to conceal a $153 box of cologne before exiting the store. When he walked out, Rodriguez Jr. detained him and waited for the police. Then, Barrett was cited for the occurrence. Barrett was booked on the citation of theft on April 22nd.

20-year-old Trinity Alexia Smith tried to steal merchandise from Nordstrom on April 20th. Loss prevention officers at the location alerted the authorities, advising they detained Smith after observing her concealing items and attempting to leave without paying. Officers were provided footage of the incident when they arrived, corroborating loss prevention’s statements. Smith told officers that she saw the item, was interested, and tried to take it. When they asked for her ID, she produced a fake identity, so she was taken into custody for using false identification and theft.

Idailis Valladares caught stealing $2,000 worth of perfume at Nordstrom

33-year-old Florida tourist Idailis Valladares stole merchandise from Nordstrom on Abbott Martin Road on March 14th. Joey Rodriguez, a Nordstrom loss prevention officer, observed this, detained her, and then alerted the authorities. When officers arrived, Rodriguez provided them with footage showing Valladares and an unidentified male grabbing multiple perfume bottles and putting them in her bag. After concealing about $2000 worth of merchandise, they tried to exit the store without paying. Rodriguez apprehended Valladares as she attempted to exit the store. Valladares was taken into custody for theft on March 14th.
