24-year-old Mesfin Alanigo was in the middle of CMA Fest in downtown Nashville at 1 a.m. Saturday, when officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was given multiple options to leave the area safely by contacting a friend or ride but he refused to assist himself. He eventually became belligerent with officers and was taken into custody.
