24-year-old Mesfin Alanigo was in the middle of CMA Fest in downtown Nashville at 1 a.m. Saturday, when officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was given multiple options to leave the area safely by contacting a friend or ride but he refused to assist himself. He eventually became belligerent with officers and was taken into custody.
Mesfin A. Alanigo was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 10th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
