Rainee Gregg blows 0.295% BAC after Briley Parkway crash

29-year-old Rainee Gregg had a single-car accident where she collided with a concrete guardrail near Briley Parkway and Kenton Place in the early hours of January 22nd. Gregg was sitting in the driver’s seat when the officers arrived. They opened the door and noticed several open Budweiser cans on the driver’s side floorboard. Gregg was unsteady as she walked away from the vehicle with a minor scratch on her head but refused medical attention. Officers observed her to be visibly intoxicated as she admitted to drinking three cocktails at a company party. She consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, refused to do another test, and told them that this would be the time that she called an Uber. They detained her, and read her implied consent, then she agreed to provide a breath sample, which resulted in 0.295% BAC. She further explained that she was coming from Jasper’s and had consumed 3-4 tequila sodas at a post-holiday company party. Gregg was taken into custody for an open container violation and driving under the influence.
