40-year-old Robert Vander McAdory is jailed on a $36,500 bond, after telling police he buys marijuana a pound at a time, and sells it by the ounce, during the execution of a search warrant on his North Nashville home.
Metro North Crime Suppression Unit Detectives executed a narcotics search warrant at the W. Hamilton Ave. home of Robert McAdory, who is a pathology technician at Vanderbilt Medical Center, on May 8th. Seized during the search was 2.86 pounds of marijuana, contained within 10 plastic bags, a Glock 21 handgun, a Ruger P94 handgun, multiple empty plastic baggies, an ecstasy pill, and $5,745 in U.S. currency.
According to a warrant, Roberty McAdory told police he typically buys one pound of marijuana at a time, and sells it one ounce at a time, and admitted some of the cash was from his marijuana sales. McAdory is charged with felony possession w/intent of marijuana, drug possession, paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during a felony charges. He remains jailed in lieu of a $36,500 bond.
