Dhillon Devinder, 38, is charged with harassment after his ex-girlfriend says he’s left voicemails threatening to pay $100,000 to have her killed, and is acting ‘very strange’.
According to an arrest warrant served on Dhillon Devinder Saturday at lunch, his girlfriend broke up with him earlier that morning. In the hours afterward he is alleged to have continued contacting her, leaving threatening voicemails and audio/text messages stating he wanted her dead. In one of the audio messages, the warrant states Dhillon can be heard saying he “will pay $100,000 to have (ex) killed.”, later stating “I’ll kill you”. In another, he says “If you want to shoot, I’m your Huckleberry”.
The victim says that Devinder Dhillon had always been very pleasant up until the breaking and now he is “acting very stranger” and states she is afraid of him and believes he is in possession of an AK47 rifle.
Dhillon was charged with harassment and booked into the Metro Jail Saturday. He later posted a $1,000 bond and was released to his Brentwood home.
