26-year-old Debayan Bose was charged with public intoxication after he was found passed out in a taxi cab.
On February 14th, police were patrolling the 4th and Broadway area when the officers were flagged down by a taxi driver. The driver asked for assistance with a passenger that was passed out in his cab and could not provide the address where he was staying.
Police found Debayan Bose asleep and smelling of alcohol. Upon contact, officers were unable to figure out where Debayan was staying. Debayan then became verbally uncooperative with officers and police took him into custody for his own safety.
Debayan Bose was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. The charge was later dismissed.
