23-year-old Elijah Saucier was charged with domestic assault after telling his roommate he was going to punch him in the mouth during an argument over 40 bucks.
On March 14th, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Old Hickory Boulevard. According to the affidavit, victim Zachary Mansfield declared he was in fear of physical retribution after an argument with Elijah Saucier about forty dollars.
Zachary and Elijah related by marriage and live in the same residence. According to Zachary, Elijah threatened to punch Zachary in the mouth. A witness was present and corroborated Zachary’s story.
Elijah Saucier was arrested and charged with assault, domestic fear of bodily injury and his bond was set at $1,000.
