“Charge my car, do you want me to hit you?” woman asks from fighting stance before launching golf ball

32-year-old Cassidy Trahant was charged with vandalism and domestic assault after her child’s father recorded an incident between them. He told officers she took a fighting stance, threw a golf ball and told him “Charge my car, do you want me to hit you then charge my car?”

On May 11th, officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 7428 Rolling River Parkway. According to affidavits, officers spoke with William Crawford and Cassidy Trahant who have a child together. At some point in an argument about Mr. Crawford departing the home, he advised she became aggressive, took a fighting stance, and told him “Charge my car, do you want me to hit you then charge my car?”

He also submitted video footage to the officers corroborating the events as well as showing Trahant throw a golf ball that shattered a vase. At first Cassidy Trahant told officers the argument did not get physical and that she had knocked the vase over accidentally. She did admit to throwing the golf ball after being made aware of the recording.

Cassidy Trahant was arrested and charged with vandalism and domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,500.
