33-year-old Dustin Carr was charged with domestic assault after his wife reported to police that while they were both intoxicated, they started arguing and it led to him smacking her in the face and pushing her to the floor, per report.
On May 7th, MNPD officers were called to 2317 Crystal Spring Lane in reference to a domestic incident. Officers spoke with Lyndsey Carr, who reported that she and her husband Dustin Carr were both intoxicated and were involved in an argument that turned physical.
Lyndsey stated that Dustin “placed” an open palm on her face and pushed her forcefully down onto the floor, according to the affidavit. After this happened, Dustin left the home. Officers noted their observation that Lyndsey did in fact have a bruised eye and Lyndsey stated it happened during the incident.
Dustin Carr was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,000.
