Police recognize Madison woman with warrants; vehicle search yields more paraphernalia

44-year-old Jessica Rippey was charged with two counts of drug paraphernalia and violation of open container law stemming from a December 2019 incident where she backed into a parked vehicle at Town & Country Ford. Officers spotted her six months later in Madison and searched her vehicle again to find more paraphernalia.

On December 11th, 2019, Jessica Rippey backed into a parked vehicle at Town & Country Ford at 101 Anderson Lane. She decided to go to the hospital to get treated for any unknown injuries. Police towed the vehicle and conducted an inventory search finding half of a bottle of Skol vodka, four needles, a chore boy bronze wool, and two plastic spoons.

On May 7th, officers noticed Rippey driving a Nissan Maxima near State Route 45 and Myatt Drive. MNPD conducted a traffic stop and determined her to have two outstanding warrants for open container violation and unlawful drug paraphernalia. Officers placed Rippey into custody and upon searching her vehicle, found a grinder and scale in her purse.

Jessica Rippey was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful drug paraphernalia and violation of open container law. Her bond was set at $4,000.
