24-year-old Claudia Moran-Perez was charged with theft of property and identity theft after she used a stolen credit card to buy an Omega watch at Genesis Diamonds that was valued at $9,500.
On July 9th, Claudia Moran-Perez used a stolen credit card to purchase an Omega watch for $9,442.50 at Genesis Diamonds at 3742 Hillsboro Pike. She also used identification bearing the same name to validate the purchase. The credit card was stolen from someone in Franklin and Genesis Diamonds suffered a loss.
Claudia was arrested the same day at a different jewelry store in Brentwood and was able to bond out of Williamson County. On July 10th a warrant was issued for her arrest in Davidson County.
On August 11th, Claudia Moran-Perez was arrested and charged with theft of property and identity theft. Her bond was set at $50,000.
