A check of the vehicle’s tag revealed it as stolen by an individual named “Curtis.” When questioned where Ervin obtained the vehicle, he responded from a friend named “Julie” which coincidentally was the name of the person who reported the vehicle stolen. Ervin was asked if he also went by the name “Curtis,” and he said yes. Ervin was then taken into custody.

Jonathan Curtis Ervin was arrested and charged with theft over $2,500. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
