25-year-old Dominique Chapman was charged with burglary after a neighbor reported seeing her go into a vehicle she did not own, then admitted to officers she broke in to look for money.
On October 27th, Metro Nashville Police Officers responded to a call about a woman in a vehicle that was not hers on Wickson Avenue. A neighbor of Patrick Schloss saw Dominique Chapman pulling on the door of his vehicle. Officers arrived to find Dominique sitting inside of the vehicle in the driver’s seat. She was taken out of the vehicle and detained.
Schloss stated he did not know who she was and she was not given permission to be inside of his vehicle. Dominique had loose change in her pockets, but it could not be identified as his. The vehicle looked like it had been raided and Dominique claimed she was inside looking for money.
Dominique Chapman was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
