36-year-old Jaime Gomez-Flores was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after his child’s mother told police he aimed a gun at her and said, “You’re going to pay for this.”
On November 15th, according to the affidavit, Guadelupe Hernandez-Santos, the mother of Jaime Gomez-Flores’ child, was on her way back to her apartment. She reported Jaime was waiting in her driveway for her, pointed a pistol at her vehicle, and stated, “You’re going to pay for this.”
Guadelupe said she quickly pulled out of her driveway and called the police. While on the phone with the police, she stated she found a tracker she believed belonged to Jaime. She told police the tracker must have notified him when she removed it. Guadelupe believed Jaime was upset because he could not track her anymore. Officers noted the two do not live together.
On November 30th, Jaime Gomez-Flores was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He was later released on a $35,000 bond.
