Man charged after witness captures footage of him dragging girlfriend across a parking lot

23-year-old Louis Wrice was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after reportedly destroying his girlfriend’s cellphone and dragging her across the asphalt in their apartment parking lot.

On November 23rd, Metro Nashville Police officers were called to a domestic disturbance located at 1350 11th Avenue South. When officers arrived, they made contact with Colizah Oden. She stated that her boyfriend, Louis Wrice, shoved her to the ground and dragged her across the apartment parking lot. A witness nearby had a video and showed officers what she said was true.

Colizah Oden also told officers that a different assault happened on November 22nd. She stated that Louis broke her phone and threw her clothes in the dumpster after she posted something on social that made him angry.

On November 24th, Louis Wrice was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. He was later released on a $3,000 bond.
