36-year-old Alexis Baker is now charged with felony vandalism after her arrest Tuesday on an outstanding warrant from late October. Metro Police say she went to the home of her ex-boyfriend, Sean Cooper, at Village on the Green apartments and covered her ex-boyfriend’s front door and vehicle with expletives using black spray paint. A Ring video doorbell captured the incident on video. Baker is free on a $2,000 bond.
ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On 10/26/2021 officers were dispatched to 2027 Ed Temple Blvd for a domestic disturbance. When we arrived as we approached the door to the victim’s apartment, we noticed that his front door had been spray-painted with black paint with expletives written out.
We made contact with the victim who stated he got a notification from his Ring camera that someone was at his front door. When he opened the application, he saw his ex-girlfriend (the defendant) spray painting his door to the apartment. The victim showed us the video footage which did show the defendant spray painting his door. The victim also stated when he got home his vehicle was spray-painted with what appeared to be the same black paint with the same expletives and additional others as well.
