25-year-old Karla Boykin was observed at 5th & Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night by Metro Nashville Police Officers, who say she was unsteady on her feet, had slurred speech, and was visibly too intoxicated for her situation and surroundings. Officers attempted to help her locate her friend group, but she was unable to assist. She repeatedly gave officers the name of a hotel in France when asked where she was staying. Officers attempted to help her get a room at the Hilton, but she began to randomly throw her body onto unknown individuals passing by.
Karla Boykin was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 30, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000.
