49-year-old tourist Anthony ‘Joel’ McClure was inside Kid Rock’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday when he became extremely intoxicated and was unable to stand on his own, and fell onto the floor multiple times. During one of his falls, a Glock 17 fell from his waistband holster and onto the floor, which was observed by a security guard who secured the weapon and detained McClure. Officers arrived and took McClure into custody and the weapon, which was loaded with one in the chamber, into evidence.
Anthony Joel McClure of Ashley Drive in Bristol, VA, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 1, charged with public intoxication and possession of a handgun under the influence. He is free on a $25,100 bond.
