DUI: Shane Stoltzfus blows a 0.219% BAC after causing two-vehicle accident

31-year-old Shane Stoltzfus was involved in a two-vehicle accident near the West Trinity Lane and Brick Church Pike intersection in the early hours of January 28th. Officers observed the accident and spoke with Stoltzfus to render aid if needed. During questioning, he had a hard time getting his identification and showed signs of intoxication. Stoltzfus admitted to drinking 2-3 IPA beers at his job, consented to sobriety tests, and performed poorly. They informed him of implied consent, and he agreed to provide a breath sample, which resulted in 0.219 BAC%. Stoltzfus was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Shane A. Stoltzfus of Meadow Hill Dr in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on January 28th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
