27-year-old Amaya Simmons was jailed on February 26th for causing a disturbance at Staybridge Suites Nashville. When officers arrived, Ms. Simmons was angry with staff in the hotel lobby. Officers also noticed the smell of alcohol coming from her. Hotel staff and other witnesses said Ms. Simmons was refused service at the bar and became upset. Ms. Simmons began yelling obscenities at the staff, prompting the staff to call the police. Simmons was then taken into custody and transported to Davidson County Detention Center.
Amaya Simmons of Governors Run in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 26th, charged with disorderly conduct. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $250, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
