32-year-old Jacob Chaple Allen entered a taxi and did not know where he was staying in the early hours of April 6th. The cab driver flagged officers down, stating Allen was too intoxicated. When officers approached him, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing up. Officers asked Allen if he was on Broadway with anyone so he could call them to get him, but he did not have his phone. When officers asked him where he was staying, Allen said, “I’d be lying if I said I did.” Allen was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Jacob Chaple Allen was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 6th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
