After Amanda passed all points of sale, a Loss Prevention agent Everette Francis attempted to detain her. Amanda then pulled the Keurig out of the cart, gave it to Everette, and left the scene. The report also stated that Amanda McMahan did not have permission to steal or attempt to steal the merchandise from Walmart.

Amanda McMahan currently works as a real estate agent with Benchmark Realty in Nashville.

On March 18th, Amanda McMahan was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
