29-year-old Matthew Gammons was charged with filing false reports when he called the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to report himself for child rape. He used the identity Jason Ketchup from Texas.

On May 6th, according to an affidavit, Matthew Gammons called the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to report the rape of a child. He stated his name was Jason Ketchup and that he was in Houston, Texas. Finally, he explained to the NCMEC that while babysitting his neighbor he had “sexually abused his rear end for 2-3 hours” until the child “passed out.” This was not Gammons’ first time calling the NCMEC, in December of 2019 he had reported an incident where he molested his neighbor’s son and “exposed him to child pornography.”

Matthew Gammons stated that he “goes through spills and starts thinking about children” which prompts him to make the calls. On May 14th, Matthew Gammons was arrested and charged with felony false report and he was later freed on pre-trial release.
