Two men seen running from the scene of a burglary caught walking down road as if nothing happened

28-year-old Michael Rowe and 34-year-old Jake Brown were charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism after being seen running from a home where they left a vehicle full of stolen items.

On August 22nd, officers responded to a break-in at 232 Welch Road. Dennis Orlando and Marlon Lopez reported coming home to find two men running from the back of their home. The alarm was going off and some of their things had been packed into a vehicle in the driveway.

Officers searched the area and found the two men, Michael Rowe and Jake Brown, matching the description given by the homeowners, walking together near 521 Paragon Mills. They were drenched in sweat, water, and covered in grass. The homeowners positively identified them as the men he saw flee his home. The men broke a door, two windows, and an air conditioner while inside the home.

Michael Rowe was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Jake Brown was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
