Reynolds stated Lubin approached him in the parking lot and started an argument that led to him smacking Reynolds’ hand and hitting his glasses off of his face causing them to break. Reynolds advised that Lubin also punched him during the altercation causing his face to swell. Reynolds provided officers with pictures of his broken glasses and swollen face.

He then mentioned Marquis Clark, who witnessed the assault, stepped out of the vehicle he was watching from to intervene. Lubin took out a knife and began to reach for a gun that could be clearly seen in his pocket. When officers spoke with Clark, he corroborated most of Reynolds’ story and added he did not intervene until he saw Lubin reach for his weapon “like he wanted to shoot him.”

On October 26th, Ritchy Lubin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was later released on a $5,000 bond.
