Woman charged after beating boyfriend on two occasions; he records being hit

24-year-old Asia Robinson was charged with two counts of domestic assault after she her boyfriend recorded a fight between them where she slapped him.

On October 18th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to Abbington Heights, 1810 Hickory Hollow Terrace, in response to a domestic disturbance. Cristobal Quintana reported he had been involved in an argument with his girlfriend, Asia Robinson. Quintana explained the argument turned physical after Robinson pushed him multiple times. Quintana had multiple scratches on his face and neck afterward. Robinson admitted to pushing and pulling Quintana’s hair.

On October 20th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched due to a domestic dispute. Robinson stated she and her boyfriend, Quintana, had a verbal argument and was agitating her. She told officers no physical contact nor verbal threats had occurred. Quintana agreed that nothing happened. Officers left the scene then Quintana requested them back. He showed the officers a video of him and Robinson, during the video, officers could hear what sounded like Robinson slapping Quintana. When the officer questioned her, she stated she was slapping her hands together. Quintana also stated she scratched his neck. There was a small scratch on his neck that was noticed earlier by the officers, and Quintana claimed it happened at a different time.

Asia Robinson was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
