Man jailed for theft again, this time for $10 worth of electronics

29-year-old Kalwin Perrin was charged with theft of merchandise after he was caught leaving Walmart with $10 of electronics he failed to purchase.

On November 6th, Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to the Walmart located at 3458 Dickerson Pike in reference to a theft.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with loss prevention who stated Kalwin Perrin went through self-checkout with $10 worth of electronics and failed to pay. When he attempted to leave with the unpurchased items, he was detained by Walmart loss prevention and they contacted MNPD.

Kalwin Perrin was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond and in connection with another theft charge from January.
