Man stalks ex-girlfriend at COVID testing site

21-year-old Jeremiah Brown was charged with stalking after he showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s home unannounced, then showed up at her job and pretended to be getting a COVID test.

On October 13th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to a disturbance at 2421 Murfreesboro Road. Gabrielle Ogbeide called police when her ex-boyfriend Jeremiah Brown showed up at her job unannounced. According to the affidavit, he also showed up at her residence two days prior and left before police arrived. She was able to get an order of protection, but it had not yet been served.

Gabrielle stated she observed her ex-boyfriend pull into the COVID testing center where she worked and asked for a test. He then left and was spotted by police driving on Edge O Lake Drive. He parked in a parking lot across the street, but left before the officers pulled in. Gabrielle stated she felt frightened and intimidated by Jeremiah’s actions.

On November 2nd, Jeremiah Brown was arrested and charged with stalking. He was later released on a $1,500 bond.
