She told police her boyfriend had come over for dinner that evening when the two started arguing. During the argument, Baltimore reportedly threw a bowl of chili at Ellis in the parking lot of the apartment complex. This caused Ellis’s son to step out of the apartment. When her son told Baltimore to leave, Baltimore pointed a pistol at them both, causing them to fear for their lives. Baltimore reportedly fled the scene in a newer model silver Honda Accord before police arrived.

On November 30th, Kevin Baltimore was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was later released on a $35,000 bond.
