50-year-old Michelle Osteen was jailed this week on a decade-old warrant charging her with felony theft. Osteen, who was previously the office manager at Dupont-Hadley middle school in Nashville, resigned in April 2013 and refused to return a Dell laptop and an iPad which was assigned to her for her job. She received certified demand letters and revised to return the equipment, resulting in a warrant being issued for her arrest.
Michelle Renee Osteen of Woodsy Creek Drive in White House, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 11th, charged with theft. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $5,0000.

That’s absolutely not true. This is my mother and to say she refused to turn it in is absolute bullshit. She was never served the warrant, and would have never stolen from property if she knew she had it. Also, the principal at the time “douchebag Armstrong” stayed there until 8:00pm that night and escorted her out to make sure she didn’t take any property.
