21-year-old Armando Mantoa was jailed on July 2nd after employees from Sun Diner reported a man was passed out drunk in front of the business. When officers arrived, Mantoa was startled and tried to walk off. He smelled of alcohol as he slurred his words to the police. He had red glossy eyes and was unsteady on his feet; unable to stand up straight. He couldn’t identify himself and didn’t have any identifying documentation on him at the time of his arrest. Due to his level of intoxication, he was taken into custody.
Armando Mantoa was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 2, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
