33-year-old Ashley Renee Bishop stole packages from the UPS warehouse on April 5th. Warehouse employees told officers that packages were missing, so they investigated. Bishop was observed on camera having packages in her bag as she walked through the X-ray scanner. Before the officers arrived, security held Bishop in their office. Bishop admitted to stealing the merchandise and then was taken into custody for theft.
36-year-old James Shepherd was booked on February 4th after strangling his ex-girlfriend during an argument. Alexus Schultz stated that James would show up at her job leading up to the incident, which made her very uncomfortable. She said that James would also call her derogatory names during arguments. On the day of the assault, January 29th, Alexus was planning to tell him that she didn’t want to communicate with him any longer. They began to argue, causing James to become irate and verbally aggressive. During the argument, James slammed Alexus’ finger in the door and then strangled her, leaving scratch marks on her neck. James told Alexus that he did not strangle her and that if she told anyone that he did, he would call the police on her.
24-year-old Amjed Alzedan was booked early Tuesday morning after his mother-in-law reported that he threatened to harm her and her daughter. Taghrid Yasin stated that when she came home, she was immediately involved in a dispute over money by her husband. He became aggressive and argumentative, telling his mother-in-law, “If I don’t kill y’all, I will get someone else to do it.” The mother-in-law grabbed her phone to call the police, but Alzedan snatched it from her and pushed her against the wall.
