Kelvin Barranco caught doing burnouts in his pink BMW on Hickory Hollow

23-year-old Kelvin Barranco did a “burnout” in the parking lot of the Southeast Library on Hickory Hollow Parkway on March 23rd. Officers observed a large amount of dust and smoke coming from the tires of his pink BMW 325, followed by a loud “revving sound.” They approached him, and he provided them with his driver’s credentials, which returned with suspended status. Officers discovered the location had an active trespass waiver on file, and he was cited for the incident. Barranco was booked on the citations of reckless driving and criminal trespass on April 26th.

William Ensley speeds 103 mph in his Chevy Cavalier on the way to work

26-year-old William Jeremiah Ensley was going 103 mph while cutting through traffic at the downtown loop near Mile Marker 49 on I-24 East on March 20th. When officers observed this, they conducted a traffic stop on the 2004 Chevy Cavalier, and Ensley advised he was heading to work. Officers cited him for the incident, and Ensley was booked on the citation for reckless driving on April 12th.

Brittaney Abrons jailed after throwing objects at ex-boyfriend during argument

35-year-old Brittaney Abrons was jailed on Thursday after an argument with her ex-boyfriend turned violent at their home on Double Tree Lane. Joshua Pittman told police that an argument started when she demanded he move out. She began throwing household items at him when he told her he needed more time. Joshua was able to block most of the items thrown, but one hit him on the hand, resulting in a cut to his finger.
