Casimy St Phard kicks pregnant girlfriend multiple times in stomach & pours boiling water on her during argument

29-year-old Casimy St. Phard had a domestic incident with his pregnant girlfriend, Silfanise Julmeus, at their Brink Haven Apartment on September 10th. When officers arrived, they spoke with St. Phard, who stated that Julmeus was mad at him for talking to another girl. St. Phard then said that she threw hot water on him because of this. However, he only had a burn on his left arm and not anywhere else on his body, inconsistent with being splashed with hot water from a pot.

Officers then spoke with Julmeus, who told the police that she and St. Phard were arguing about paying a bill. She added that while she was cooking noodles on the stove, St. Phard came up from behind her and strangled her, causing her to fall to the floor. Julmeus said that St. Phard then poured the boiling water from the noodles on her and kicked her in the stomach five times. Julmeus added that he had always been mad about how she would not get an abortion. She stated that St. Phard had told her before that he would kill her and the baby if she did not get an abortion. After this, Julmeus was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for a welfare check of her and her unborn baby. St. Phard was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated assault.

Robert Hill totals a car by beating it with a brick & mop handle

46-year-old Robert Hill was involved in an altercation with Thomas Reid at Charles E Davis Blvd on March 27th. Officers arrived and spoke with Reid, who stated that when he and Hill got into an argument, Hill chased him around his car and into the street. Law enforcement was provided surveillance footage of the incident. With that, they observed Hill smashing Reid’s windows and damaging the vehicle with a brick and a mop handle. Hill was also seen entering Reid’s car through the window, grabbing the keys, and throwing them into the street. After doing so, Hill was seen pulling out a box that contained a crock pot and throwing it to the ground. Reid later informed law enforcement that the damage to his vehicle was deemed totaled by his insurance company. Reid’s car was valued at $27,099.05. After being identified by Reid in a photo lineup, Robert Hill was taken into custody and charged with vehicular burglary and vandalism.

Steve Midgett Jr. booked after starting brawl during funeral at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church

23-year-old Steve Midgett Jr. was booked on an outstanding warrant from May 10th, 2020. On that day, police received a report from Midgett Jr.’s cousin stating that during a funeral at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Midgett Jr. offered a few words. During the concluding remarks, Midgett Jr. stepped on the podium and began lambasting the deceased. This caused a brawl inside the church, which continued outside into the parking lot. While the police were quelling the crowd, Midgett Jr. told his cousin, “You’re dead,” which placed her in fear.

On February 26, while officers attempted to arrest Midgett Jr. on the outstanding warrant, he resisted, preventing officers from escorting him to the patrol car. Officers commanded several times to stop resisting, but he continued to resist and refused to sit down in the patrol vehicle. Midgett Jr. was taken into custody for resisting arrest and domestic assault on February 26th.

Jackie Johnson scoots across floor attempting to kick husband during argument

63-year-old Jackie Johnson had a domestic dispute with her husband, Frank Johnson, at their Apache Lane home on January 27th. Officers spoke with Mr. Johnson, who advised them that his wife hit him on the back over an argument about him letting a family member use their shared car. He said after she hit him, he put his hands up, telling her to leave him alone. Jackie moved toward him again, but he managed to push her away. Then, Mrs. Johnson fell and scooted across the floor, kicking at him, so he backed away. A juvenile helped her out of the room and shared a similar statement regarding the incident. Mrs. Johnson was taken into custody for domestic assault.

BreAnna Atkins charged with assaulting mother and sister during dispute

19-year-old BreAnna Atkins was involved in a domestic dispute with her mom, Miranda Haygood, and her little sister at their residence on East Old Hickory Blvd on October 27th. Haygood and her younger daughter spoke with deputies as they arrived and stated she was going to report Atkins for child abuse for letting her two-year-old son walk barefoot on the deck outside. In response to this, Atkins assaulted both her mother and her little sister, who tried to stop Atkins from attacking their mother. Officers observed red marks on Haygood’s chest and the little sister’s ear. Atkins admitted to assaulting Haygood and was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault.
